Research Interest
  • Materials Sciences related to the development of different specialty optical fibres with special references to optical amplifier , fiber lasers, FBG based components and devices, fibre optic based radiation sensor and advanced rare earth doped nano-crystalline host based optical fibers for high power fiber laser and up-conversion laser.

  • Selected as Young Scientist in connection with INDIA-UK Young Scientist Networking Programme held in British Council, New Delhi, 27th Nov-4th Dec, 2003.

  • Developed high radiation sensitive optical fiber for use as radiation sensor in Fibre Optics Dosimeter.
