Research Interest
Refractories science with special emphasis to Oxide Refractory system which include the area of natural refractory raw materials bauxite, beach sand sillimanite, area of Mag-Al spinel, Mag-Chrome & chrome mag spinel refractory, mullite with special interest lies in zirconia-mullite refractory system.

Notable Research Contribution
Developed value added refractory aggregates from lean grade Indian Bauxite. Developed zirconia-mullite refractory aggregates utilizing Indian beach sand mineral sillimanite. Developed mag-chrome & chrome mag spinel refractory aggregates utilizing Indian friable chrome ores. The technology on mag-chrome aggregates from friable chrome ore developed and transferred to industry.
