Technology for Arsenic & Iron Removal form Groundwater
A technology for simultaneous removal of high concentrations of
arsenic (up to 2 ppm) and iron (up to 15 ppm) from ground water
developed for production of quality drinking water (equivalent to
natural mineral water). The principle of adsorption of arsenic by nanocolloidal
media followed by cross-flow micro-filtration
of suspended particulate matter using low cost
porous ceramic elements is the process basis.

capacity) installed for community application in the
arsenic affected area at instance of Public Health
Engineering Directorate, Govt. of West Bengal.
