Research Interest
  • Material Science with special references to evaluation of Optical and Spectroscopic properties of Rare earth and Transition metal ions doped Glasses, Glass-Ceramics for various technological applications like solid state lasers, energy storage devices, energy up and down converters for efficient solar energy extraction and highly semi conducting media for electronic applications. Rare Earth doped WBG-Semiconductors for LED applications. Optical Refrigeration by Anti-Stokes luminescence in low phonon glasses as solid state cryo-coolers for space applications.
