Patents filed / Granted

Summary: Summary: 01
"A process of making anorthite powder, anorthite sintered body and a process for the preparation thereof", Sankar Ghatak, Manidipta De, Tapas Kumar Mukhopadhyay, Syamal Ghosh, Jiten Ghosh, Patent No: 0292 NF 2014, Date of filing: 19/01/2016 India.

Landmark Research Contribution
Developed model based X-ray diffraction techniques to utilize more scientific measurement data directly in the model fitting process for microstructural characterization of different materials in terms of microstructural parameters like crystallite size, lattice strain, lattice distortion, dislocation density, defect parameters (stacking faults, twining faults probabilities) etc. for structure-property correlation of materials.
