Notable Research Contribution
Fibre Bragg grating (FBG) based embeddable, spot-weldable and surface mountable packaged sensor housing has been developed for strain and temperature measurement towards health monitoring of concrete and steel structure.
Developed packaged fiber Bragg grating (array/single) temperature sensor for industrial application.
Design and developed the compact vibration sensing device based on fiber Bragg grating sensor for health monitoring of civil structure (building and bridges) and also for high voltage electrical equipment.
Coated of high refractive index material on long period fiber grating (LPFG) sensor with nanometer thickness has been developed towards label -free bio-sensing application.
