Research Interest
  • Material Science with special references to evaluation of Optical and Spectroscopic properties of Rare earth and Transition metal ions doped Glasses, Glass-Ceramics for various technological applications like solid state lasers, energy storage devices, energy up and down converters for efficient solar energy extraction and highly semi conducting Glass-composites for electronic/opto-electronic applications. Optical Refrigeration by Anti-Stokes luminescence in low phonon glasses.
