Technologies Developed/Under Development
  • Anti-scratch coatings (hard-coatings) on plastic ophthalmic lenses (Transferred to 2 Indian companies)
  • Hard-coatings on polycarbonate plastic sheets (up to 600x600 mm2), PET, PP, PMMA and other related plastics using inorganic-organic hybrid nanocomposites
  • Antireflective (AR) coatings on plastic ophthalmic lenses and sheets
  • Gold nanotriangle doped SiO2 coatings for solar control applications (jointly with Tata Chemicals Ltd.)
  • Colour coatings on glass and plastics using metal NPs as colouring source
