Major Activities
Design, development and prototype fabrication of special purpose electrical & electronic instruments.
Calibration of thermal, electrical and physical parameters.

Operation and maintenance of major infrastructure facilities like ISDN PABX, multimedia system, public address system etc.

Repair & maintenance of various types of electrical/ electronic instruments.
Current programme
Recently this section has successfully designed & fabricated eight nos. of microprocessor controlled, programmable, thyristor driven furnace control panel for various types of glass melting furnaces.
Currently this section is engaged in the design and development of a resistive heating, two-storied glass melting furnace having bottom pouring facility using ceramic pot.

This section is also involved in the design & development of phase angle triggered thyristor control circuit.

Apart from the above mentioned jobs, all infrastructural activities are also being carried out as usual.
