- Development and production of new functional glasses and glass-ceramics for photonic, optics and energy applications
- Development of glasses suitable for the stable embedded metal nano-isalnds
- Synthesis and Evaluation of glass supported multi-element metal nano-islands
Notable Research Contribution
- Development of NASICON type phosphate based glasses for ultra wideband optical sources.
- Development of pyroxene and melilite based silicate glass and glass-ceramic materials for their applications to use as a sealant material in solid oxide fuel cells.
- A bilayer glass-ceramic sealant was developed.
- SERB Early Career Research Award (2019)
- R .L. Thakur memorial award -2018 for the Young Scientist by the Indian Ceramic Society.
- Participation in student speech contest as a representative from Portugal, ECERS XIII, Limoges, France June 23-27, 2013
