Computational and Data-Driven Advanced Materials (CDAM) 2026

CSIR-CGCRI successfully concluded two-day national conference on Computational and Data-Driven Advanced Materials (CDAM 2026) during April 7–8, 2026, marking the inauguration of the Computational Materials Section by Prof. Tanusri Saha Dasgupta, Director, SN Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences and a new “Think Tank” by Prof. D. D. Sarma, IISc, Bangalore. The event featured 12 distinguished experts, including Dr. G. K. Patra, Director, CSIR-4PI, Prof. P. P. Chakraborti, former Director, IIT Kharagpur, focusing on the transformative role of AI, machine learning and multiscale modeling in materials discovery. This inaugural forum established a robust platform for data-driven research, accelerating the development of the next generation of functional materials through international-standard scientific collaboration.
