Notable Research Contribution:

  • Developed novel ceramic/glass-ceramic/bioactive coatings on metallic substrates by microwave processing.
  • Use of glass-ceramics as oxidation resistant bond coat in thermal barrier coating system.
  • Developed glass-ceramic glazes for modern generation floor tiles.
  • Developed metallization and active metal brazing technology for fabrication of different electron tube components.
  • Development of suitable potting material for dispenser cathode of a high power microwave tube
  • Microwave-assisted brazing of ceramics for electron tube applications
  • Preparation of suitable glass frits for application in MIG series aero-engine parts
