As part of the inauguration of the Computational Materials Section at CSIR–Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CSIR-CGCRI), the Information Technology & Computational Materials (ITCM) Section is organizing a two-day conference entitled
Computational and Data-Driven Advanced Materials
April 07-08, 2026
CSIR-CGCRI, Jadavpur, Kolkata 700 032, India
With Great Excitement, We Invite You!
We are delighted to invite you to the Computational and Data-Driven Advanced Materials (CDAM) conference, a forum dedicated to advancing materials research through computational modeling, data science, and artificial intelligence–driven approaches. This event will bring together leading researchers, domain experts, and innovators to discuss recent breakthroughs and future directions in computational and data-centric materials science.
The conference focuses on the discovery, design, and understanding of advanced and functional materials using first-principles calculations, multiscale simulations, high-performance computing, and data-driven methodologies. By integrating expertise from chemistry, physics, materials science, and computer science, CDAM aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on how computation and data analytics are transforming materials research, accelerating materials discovery, and enabling predictive insights into structure–property–performance relationships.
Key Topics Include (but not limited to) Applications and Advancements in:
Ø Multiscale Modeling of Materials
Ø High-Throughput Computational Screening
Ø Data-Driven & AI-Based Materials Discovery
Ø Emerging Directions in Computational Material Research
Abstract submission through this form. For Abstract template please click here; acceptance of abstract will be notified via email. Conference Email ID: cdam2026@gmail.com.
Abstract submission deadline: February 28, 2026
NOTE: Please note that, due to logistical constraints, we can accommodate a maximum of 50 abstracts. Submissions will be evaluated based on merit and relevance, as well as on a first-come, first-served basis, and the abstract submission process will close once this limit is reached.
We especially encourage student participants to present their research through poster presentations.
Kindly note the poster dimensions should be 80 cm x 100 cm.
