Ranked amongst the top 0.31% scientists in the world in the sub-field ‘Materials’ in the single year 2020, and amongst the top 0.86% over whole career in the Stanford Ranking (Elsevier) published in 2021.

Sselected as one of the panel member of external experts for the Departmental Academic Committee (DAC) and the Departmental Visiting Committee (DVC), Department of Biomedical Engineering, NIT Raipur for the academic period of 2021-2024.  

Invited as Adjunct Professor of Airlangga University, Indonesia.

Acted as Editor of a forthcoming book on ‘Specialty Optical Fibers – Materials, Fabrication Technology and Applications’ to be published by Elsevier Publishing Ltd, UK and as Guest Editor for the Special Issue of the open access journal ‘Fibers’ (ISSN 2079-6439) entitled “Specialty Optical Fibers – Materials, Fabrication and Applications”.

Conferred with the ‘NESA Fellowship Award – 2021’ and the  ‘D.N. Agrawal Memorial Award – 2021’ by National Environmental Science Academy, New Delhi and Indian Ceramic Society (InCerS), Kolkata respectively for his contribution in the field of Glass Science and Technology.

Selected as Hydrogen Strategy Group (HSG) member by CSIR-Innovation Management Directorate for CSIR-National Mission on Hydrogen.

Selected as the Subject Expert for Department of Renewable Energy by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University for Technology.

Judged as Outstanding Reviewer for Dalton Transactions by Royal Society of Chemistry.

Received Bursary Award from International Union of Crystallography (IUCR) to attend 25^th IUCR congress at Praha, Czech Republic.

Awarded ‘Silver Poster Award’ and a cash prize of Rs. 2000/- for his presentation titled “Antimony doped tin oxide nanosystems for excellent room temperature detection of SO2 gas” under the “Functional Nanomaterials” category at the International conference Frontiers in Materials for Technological Applications (FIMTA) 2021 organized by CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneshwar during 4-6th August, 2021.

Awarded Best Poster Presentation Award for the paper entitled, “Simultaneous Removal of Fe(III), As(V) and F^– from Water Using C@LDH Adsorbent” presented at the International Conference on Engineering Sciences and Technologies for Environmental Care (ESTEC-2020) held at CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, Assam during February 20-22, 2020.

Secured 2nd position in poster presentation competition in the Women’s Science Congress – 2020 held from 5-6 January, 2020 during the 107th Indian Science Congress, Bengaluru.

Secured 2nd position in poster presentation in a workshop held during 3-7th January, 2020 at NIT Durgapur.
